Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a skilled PLC Programming Technician to join a client's team in Wadesboro, North Carolina. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with a strong background in PLC programming and a passion for maintaining efficient automated systems. The position is 100% onsite, offering an opportunity to work closely with a team of experts in the field.

Responsibilities

• Utilize PLC knowledge, including RsLogix, Studio 5000, Simatic Manager, and Tia Portal, to ensure efficient operations.
• Experience with VFDs (variable frequency drives) is essential for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform computer-based troubleshooting for PLC and VFD systems.
• Contact technical support when necessary, particularly with systems like Fanuc Robotics.
• Troubleshoot and maintain robotics systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Operate automated machinery to test for malfunctions and verify repairs.
• Apply knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) in daily operations.
• Utilize multi-meters and hand tools for maintenance tasks.
• Communicate clearly with management and team members to ensure understanding and collaboration.
• Perform preventive maintenance in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Respond promptly to unforeseen breakdowns, demonstrating reliability and commitment.
• Perform duties such as standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

• Familiarity with NEC, VFDs, and robotics systems.

• Willingness to perform additional tasks and adapt to changing work environments.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 1st shift, 6:00am tp 4:30pm.

The salary range for this position is $30 to $35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
