Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a skilled PLC Programming Technician to join a client's team in Wadesboro, North Carolina. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with a strong background in PLC programming and a passion for maintaining efficient automated systems. The position is 100% onsite, offering an opportunity to work closely with a team of experts in the field.
Responsibilities
- Utilize PLC knowledge, including RsLogix, Studio 5000, Simatic Manager, and Tia Portal, to ensure efficient operations.
- Experience with VFDs (variable frequency drives) is essential for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Perform computer-based troubleshooting for PLC and VFD systems.
- Contact technical support when necessary, particularly with systems like Fanuc Robotics.
- Troubleshoot and maintain robotics systems to ensure smooth operations.
- Operate automated machinery to test for malfunctions and verify repairs.
- Apply knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) in daily operations.
- Utilize multi-meters and hand tools for maintenance tasks.
- Communicate clearly with management and team members to ensure understanding and collaboration.
- Perform preventive maintenance in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to unforeseen breakdowns, demonstrating reliability and commitment.
- Perform duties such as standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- Proven experience and knowledge in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with NEC, VFDs, and robotics systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks and respond to urgent situations.
- Willingness to perform additional tasks and adapt to changing work environments.
Required Work Hours
Monday to Friday, 1st shift, 6:00am tp 4:30pm.

The salary range for this position is $30 to $35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
